About the Event

JOIN US for a FUNdraising virtual evening event to showcase our Annual Photography Exhibit!  ALL Ocean Studies student photographs will be displayed in a virtual gallery presentation and available for purchase! Guest speakers including Mary Barley from the Everglades Foundation, Mac Stone, a prominent Everglades nature photographer and Emma Haydocy from Florida Bay Forever will share with us their passion for this unique eco-system in our FL Keys backyard.

Each year, Ocean Studies Charter School ends the school year with an Annual Photography Exhibit to showcase the photography work of our students.  Each classroom was paired with a volunteer professional photographer that guided the children through a study to learn about photography fundamentals and how it can be used for environmental advocacy.  This year, as Ocean Studies grows to become an Everglades Champion School, we used the Everglades and it's surrounding eco-systems as our focus.
