Ocean Studies Charter School is a free public school located in the heart of Key Largo, Florida that serves students from Kindergarten through grade 5. We offer an alternative to traditional education by providing authentic experiences in our unique Florida Keys environment, the use of best practices in education including Montessori methods, and a specialty in marine science education.

Exposure to Travel & Culture

As our program expands each year, we value the importance of exposing our students to various cultures, places, scientific observations and travel opportunities. This past year, our 5th grade class spent a week in Bocas del Toro, Panama to participate in biological studies at the Institute of Tropical Ecology and Conservation.
