Field Trip with Islamorada Dive Center

"It takes a village . . . "

We've all heard that saying and it couldn't be more true for the kids of Ocean Studies!  We have an amazing "village" around us here in the FL Keys and we want to take the next few days spotlighting the individuals and businesses that help get our kids OUT THERE in the world, looking for problems and figuring out how to solve them.  Our first and heartfelt THANK YOU goes to Capt. Eric Billips at Florida Keys Dive Center !! Eric has always been so focused on helping our students see the underwater world that he routinely takes his boats and time out of his day to get.those.kids.on.the.water - like last week!  These kiddos got to go visit a local nurse shark location! He's always so positive and helpful and we couldn't be any more grateful that he's part of our Ocean Studies village.  Thank you, Eric, and Florida Keys Dive Center!!

We hope that when our community sees that businesses that go out of their way to support environmental education in the FL Keys that they recommend and visit those organizations

#thefutureofoceanstudies knows we couldn't do all of this without people like Eric helping us along the way!
